Who we are
Code Upward (codeupward.com) is a web development studio operated by [Full name], Individual Entrepreneur (FOP), Ukraine. We are the controller of the personal data described below. You can reach us at hello@codeupward.com.
What we collect
We only collect what you send us through the contact form:
- your name and email address;
- your business name or website, if you provide it;
- whether you are a business or an agency, and your message.
Cookies and logs
This website does not use analytics or advertising cookies and does not track you across other sites. It stores one technical cookie with your language choice. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (such as IP address and request time) for security and troubleshooting.
Why we use it
We use your details only to reply to your enquiry, prepare a demo or quote, and, if we work together, to run the project. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering requests you sent us, and steps you asked us to take before entering into a contract (GDPR / UK GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) and (f)).
We do not sell your data and we do not add you to a mailing list.
Who processes it
- Resend delivers the form submission to our inbox by email.
- Our hosting provider runs this website and its database, and keeps server logs.
- Our email provider stores the messages we receive and send.
Some of these providers are based in the United States. Where data leaves the EU/UK, they rely on standard contractual clauses or an equivalent safeguard.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for up to 24 months after our last contact, so we can follow up on a conversation you started. If we sign a contract, project records are kept for as long as accounting and tax law requires. You can ask us to delete your enquiry at any time.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, delete or export your data, object to its use, or restrict it. Email hello@codeupward.com and we will reply within 30 days. If you are in the EU or UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
